This work is related to galaxy evolution in nearby galaxy clusters (z~0.1), in particular in trying to disentangle the gravitational and hydrodynamic effects in the galaxy interactions along with their evolution. Specifically, environmental effects are seen through hydrodynamical (with HI radio maps) and gravitational (tidal effects from data in the NIR) interactions in clusters. Especially, I am focusing on tidal interaction between galaxies. As a first step, we chose two nearby clusters A496 (z=0.03) and A85 (z=0.05) and observed them in NIR bands (J, H, Ks) and traced the tidal features in their old stellar component. Here, I present the preliminary results obtained from this work.
